The review article titled “Indications for percutaneous ultrasound-guided renal biopsy and complications associated with it: An observational study” published in D Y Patil Journal of Health Sciences, on page 43-47, Issue 2, Volume 10, 2022,[1] is being retracted because it is currently under publication process in another journal. It was brought to the attention of the journal’s editorial board, by the authors, that the publication in D Y Patil Journal of Health Sciences in 2022, was done without their consent since they asked for the manuscript to be withdrawn. Thus, the author as well as the journal’s editorial office decided to retract the article.
Plagiarism, fabrication, unethical or redundant publication violates the editorial policy of D Y Patil Journal of Health Sciences, which follows best practice guidelines given by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) mentioned on the Information for Authors and as codified in the signed statements made by the authors regarding the copyright of their work.
This article has been retracted on request of the Authors and Editor-in-Chief of the journal.
